Qira’at or recitation is the reading of the Holy Quran correctly and melodiously. Because of its importance, Allah Almighty has instructed us to read the Quran with proper pauses. It is essential to understand the basic principles of Tajweed to learn the art of Qira’at.
In this course, the students are taught the rules of Tajweed and are trained in recitation with Tarteel (pleasant pauses). After going through this course, the students recite the Holy Quran with correct Makharij and pronunciation.
